Navigating Tariff Changes

With recent changes to U.S. tariff policy affecting material costs across the industry, manufacturers and sourcing teams alike are feeling the impact. At Atlas Fibre, we want to be upfront about what’s changing—and just as importantly, what’s staying the same.

What’s Changing: Effective immediately, Atlas Fibre will be adjusting prices on select materials. Depending on the product and source of origin, price increases average 6% and range between 3% and 8%. These adjustments reflect the cost burdens imposed by updated current tariff schedules and apply only to products affected by those changes.

What’s Not Changing: While pricing is shifting, our commitment to our customers remains the same:

Atlas Fibre will honor existing quotes when requested materials are in stock.

Thanks to our decision to maintain the largest thermoset composite inventory in North America, we’re in a position to support customers without interruption. We know that our customers are looking for a reliable supply chain—and everything we’ve done over the past two-plus years has been designed to ensure we’re not just able to survive these challenges but thrive in exactly these types of situations.

Why Atlas Fibre Remains the Smartest Choice

Even with these changes, Atlas Fibre remains one of the most cost-effective, secure, and resilient sources for thermoset composite materials:

  • No exposure to China, which helps us avoid the steepest tariffs and reduce risk.
  • Reduced tariff impact through our strategic relationship with a long-standing partner in India.
  • Domestic manufacturing capacity, giving us control over quality, availability, and lead times.

In order to have a truly reliable supply chain, you need more than just material on hand—you need strategic partners who keep your short- and long-term interests in mind. At Atlas Fibre, we’re committed to helping our customers plan for a future that’s mutually beneficial, built on trust, transparency, and performance.

What You Can Expect Moving Forward

We’ll continue to communicate directly with you about pricing impacts based on your specific projects and materials. We understand that clarity and predictability are essential—and we’ll always aim to provide both.
